Two ways to count on Android

You can install the PUSHapp Android app from Google Play, or skip the install and use the web counter directly in Chrome. Both use the same AI pose detection: prop your phone up, fit your hands, shoulders and hips in frame, and train.

  • Google Play app with full tracking, streaks, and leaderboards
  • Browser version runs in Chrome on Android — nothing to install
  • One account works across Android, iPhone, and the web

What you need

Any recent Android phone with a working camera is enough. There is no wearable, no proximity-sensor trick, and no need to touch your nose to the screen — the camera watches the full rep.

  • A modern Android phone (or tablet) with a camera
  • Decent light and a stable spot to prop the phone
  • Camera permission when the app asks for it

Counts you can compete with

Reps counted on Android land on the same leaderboards as everyone else's. Streaks, records, and private boards with friends work the same whether you train on the app or in the browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a push up counter app for Android?

Yes. PUSHapp is available on Google Play for Android, and the same counter also runs in Chrome on Android without installing anything.

Is it free?

PUSHapp is free to start. You can count reps and track progress without paying; Pro adds extras like competitions.

Does it need a wearable or smartwatch?

No. The counter only uses your phone camera. Pose detection runs on the device and counts reps from your movement.
