PUSHapp ("we", "us") provides a camera-based push-up counter and fitness tracking experience. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process and why.
1. Camera and motion data
We use your device camera to estimate body pose and count repetitions. This processing happens locally on your device during a session.
2. Account and app data
If you create an account, we may store profile, session stats, leaderboard activity, and app settings needed to provide sync and social features.
3. Optional video exports
If you choose to create a shareable video, selected media and related metadata are processed to generate your export. This is optional and user-initiated.
4. Private leaderboards
Private leaderboard names, invite codes, and challenge activity are shared with members of those private groups.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data only for as long as you have a PUSHapp account:
Account data (profile, workout sessions and statistics, leaderboard activity, subscription status, app settings) is retained while your account exists. When you delete your account, this data is deleted from our production systems; residual copies in backups are purged within 90 days.
On-device data (local workout history, preferences) stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Pose telemetry (numeric body-landmark measurements used to improve counting accuracy — never raw video) is linked to your account and deleted with it.
Fair-play review frames (a few small camera images captured during cash-competition sets or qualifying weekly Find Match duels, used solely for human review of contest fairness) are stored privately, never shared publicly, and deleted no later than 60 days after the end of the month in which they were captured — or immediately when you delete your account. Frames are only captured for users who entered the cash challenge and accepted its fair-play rules. Weekly frames are linked to the entrant, duel and week; opponents’ cameras are not included in these review frames.
Online availability: while the app is in the foreground, a short-lived connection record lets us show aggregate numbers of online players and players in each game world. Individual connection records are not public; inactive records stop counting after 45 seconds and are removed by subsequent presence refreshes. Match records and weekly point ledgers are retained with your account for standings and fair-play review.
Purchase records are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe and are retained by those providers according to their own policies; we retain the minimal transaction records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. You can also request deletion, or removal of specific data, by emailing contact@trypushapp.com — we respond within 30 days.
7. Your choices
You can stop using camera features at any time by denying camera permission. You may request account deletion or data removal in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by contacting us.
8. Children
PUSHapp is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
